What we believe in a nutshell

We believe that God created all things, and specifically created mankind to live in a right relationship with Himself, to be loved by Him, and to love Him, and bring Him glory. Instead man rejected God, rebelling against His just and good authority, and became guilty of sin, deserving of God’s wrath and punishment. Despite this God worked to bring about salvation and restoration by sending His Son Jesus to die on the cross for sins and satisfy God’s wrath. Only those who repent and place their faith in Jesus will be saved and reconciled to God, and will receive the Holy Spirit and eternal life to live in perfect relationship with God for eternity. All of this is revealed in God’s infallible Word, the Bible.

As JEMS missionaries we fully agree with the JEMS Statement of Faith.

As individual missionaries, our personal beliefs are in alignment with these additional statements:

We endorse The Gospel Coalition’s Confessional Statement as an accurate summary of our understanding of the scriptures and God’s plan of redemption.

In regards to sexuality and gender issues we affirm the Nashville Statement put out by the Council for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood.
